Summary: The 450MVA, 420/22kV GSU with OLTC transformer for the Belchatow Power Plant is the biggest unit of this kind designed and manufactured by EthosEnergy Poland S.A. Very demanding customer’s requirements made the manufacturer to use state-of-the-art design methods. Modern solutions of power transformers monitoring as well as high voltage bushings was presented in this paper.
