Summary: In the paper is presented information regarding the scope of MV and HV products development by ELEKTROBUDOWA SA. The most important solutions of MV switchgears launched to production  in the recent time have been shown which have one of the highest or even the highest technical parameters in their categories. Moreover, other interesting solutions used in MV switchgears by ELEKTROBUDOWA are described. One of the latest product launched on the market is OPTIMA 24 – SF6 gas insulated switchgear. It is offered with CB (Circuit Breaker) also developed by ELEKTROBUDOWA engineers team with very high mechanical endurance – rarely found in CB applied in this type of switchgears. This switchgear can also be equipped with a CB with electro-magnet mechanism which is a unique feature for this type of switchgears. In addition, the possibilities which has the monitoring system of key switchgear parameters are presented as one of the important element of increasing the operational safety and minimizing the maintenance costs of MV switchgears offered by ELEKTROBUDOWA. Also described non-typical adaptations of construction solutions of HV GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) – OPTIMA 145 which increase the sales possibilities of this type of switchgear.
